
New CEO Appointed for the GroAqua Group
Recently, work has been ongoing to appoint a new CEO for the GroAqua group.
The process has now been completed, and the board has made an agreement with Niels Brynnum to become the new CEO of the group.
Niels Brynnum, is 53 years old and originally from Denmark, where he also resides.
Niels Brynnum has extensive leadership experience from several well-established companies and has worked extensively in the supplier industry for aquaculture across several countries.
“We are pleased to have found a skilled and experienced leader to guide the group forward. GroAqua strives to be the leading provider of sustainable solutions for the aquaculture industry, and the new CEO will ensure that this course continues,” says Janus Thomsen, Chairman of the Board at GroAqua.
The new CEO will begin in the role on May 1st.
GroAqua, headquartered in the Faroe Islands, has companies in Scotland, Norway, and Poland, and sells its solutions and services to aquaculture companies throughout the North Atlantic.
The structure of the group, which includes over 100 employees, is organized with a country manager for each country, as well as a CEO for the group.
